The North Dallas Adventist Academy Sentinels from Richardson, Texas, won the 2019 Union College Basketball Tournament by edging out the Forest Lake Academy Panthers from Apopka, Florida, in the men’s championship game by a score of 69-63.
In the women’s bracket, Forest Lake Academy defeated the Mile High Adventist Academy Mustangs from Denver, Colorado, by a score of 56-27 to take the title.
The annual basketball tournament, hosted by Union College, featured men’s and women’s teams from 12 Seventh-day Adventist high schools from across the country. Each team played games on Wednesday through Friday morning to determine seeding for a three-bracket tournament on Friday afternoon and Saturday night.
