Taught by Seth Pierce and Ben Tyner, the classes are RELT 355: Imagination, Theology and History and HIST 325: Tolkien, Fantasy and Middle Ages. In them, students study the works of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien and visit locations that inspired their allegories. “From the hills of Edinburgh to the cliffs of Tintagel, there wasn’t really any place that wasn’t amazing to lay my eyes upon,” said Brandon Hansen, a senior business administration major. Fortunately, the group had along Suzanne Ócsai, an art and design professor and experienced photographer. Her talent gives the rest of us a taste to the sights the students experienced and inspired fantastic literature.
