State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements Disclosure

In compliance with Federal Guideline 34 CFR §600.9(c), the US Department of Education requires Union Adventist University to notify current and prospective students whether their degree program fulfills state/territory licensure or certification requirements. States/territories in which the program fulfills education requirements necessary for licensure or certification are identified below. Licensing requirements vary by state/territory and are always subject to change at the discretion of the state/territory licensing board. Students are encouraged to inquire with the applicable state/territory board to confirm eligibility for licensure prior to enrolling in a given program.

Elementary Education, BS

Because all states have different endorsement areas, students pursuing degrees in education fields who plan to teach in states other than Nebraska should meet with their advisor or program director.  This individual can help research and explain requirements for certification in other states.

Emergency Management Technician, NPEMT
