The challenges

All four challenges are open to boys and girls basketball players. You get five points for entering a video, plus 15 points for first place, 10 points for second place and 5 points for third place. Use the button below to upload your videos.

NOTE: You'll need to log in to your Google account to upload challenge videos.

Free throw challenge

Make as many free throws as you can in 60 seconds on a regulation basketball court with proper floor markings. You may use two helpers and two balls.

The camera must run continuously on a wide shot with no cutting.

Three point challenge

Make as many three-point shots as you can in 60 seconds. Start in the corner and make the shot before moving to the next position. Make the shot from five equal distances around the arc before starting over.

You must use a regulation basketball court with proper floor markings, and you may use two helpers and two balls.

Layup challenge

Make as many layups as you can in 60 seconds. Place cones in five equally-spaced positions around the three-point arc. Dribble around each cone and make the layup before proceeding to the next cone.

Shooting from the block challenge

Place a ball on each free throw lane block. Two helpers can hold them in place. You must pick up and return the balls to the blocks on alternate sides. Make as many shots as you can in 60 seconds.

Challenge rules

  • Your video must show the player and the ball throughout the entirety of challenge.
  • Videos must be uploaded by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, to be eligible for the competition.
  • The video file name must contain the name of the student, the name of the school, and the name of the challenge (example: "Jon_Doe-Dakota_Adventist_Academy-Free_Throw.mp4").
  • By uploading your challenge video, you agree that Union College has the right to post your video on its website or social media channels as a part of the Spring Tournament 2021.
  • You will be required to log in with a Google account in order to upload your video.
