Campus Ministries

Our mission is to empower your mission.

The goal of Campus Ministries is to provide a plethora of opportunities for all students to encounter Jesus, grow in their relationship with Jesus, discover how to integrate that relationship into their professional goals, and to serve Him by meeting the needs of the people of this world with an eternal perspective consistent with the message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

v2

The 30 minutes that contain Sundown! Saturday evenings

Started at Union by students, V2 is a time for students of Union to share testimonies and blessings with each other as Sabbath closes. Time varies based on season.

union for christ

Union for Christ is what Union is all about—being for Christ. As a branch of the Student Association, students lead and guide their peers into a closer walk with Jesus through programs, events and activities.

power pacs

In lieu of Week of Prayers each semester, Union Adventist University endeavors to "perpetuate the week of prayer experience" all year with our monthly Power Pac weekends. Special guests lead us in new and special ways into more opportunities to grow in our relationship with Jesus.

Project Impact

Every year, Union Adventist University takes a day off of classes and serves 60+ agencies of Lincoln that care for our community making an impact that day and serving as a catalyst for service throughout the school year.

International Volunteers and Taskforce

Many Union Adventist University students take a gap year to serve others both in North America and around the world. To call the experience "life-changing" is an understatement.

Find out more about volunteering internationally and the application process.

SOS

Though naps are important, Campus Ministries offers something else to do on Sabbath afternoons. Some SOSs are outreach, others are in-reach, and some will be just reaching for a relaxing moment. If you have ideas for SOS activities, drop us a note. If you're already doing something on Sabbath afternoon you would like help promoting or funding, let us know! Watch for SOS signs, and do Something On Sabbath.

JOB

Union Adventist University students are known for their willingness to serve. Requests regularly come in asking for help from our community. Our JOB Ministry is part of our commitment to being a good friends to our neighbors.

Email Campus Ministries at cm@uau.edu if you're interested in helping with community outreach, or are seeking assistance.

Engaged Encounter

Adventist Engaged Encounter is a weekend program structured to give engaged couples time to carefully consider their relationship and their expectations for marriage.

Summer Ministries

Union Adventist University works with a variety of ministries to encourage students to both serve Christ and earn money for tuition during the summer. Camps and literature evangelism are two of the most common.
