Professional Background:
I worked at St. Elizabeth Regional Center here in Lincoln, Nebraska for 9 years. During that time I received certification to administer chemotherapy medications to patients with cancer and received special training and certification to take care of patients who suffered from strokes. In addition to direct patient care I fulfilled leadership roles on the Medical/ Oncology/Stroke unit including: Chair of the Education Committee, Team Leader, and Charge Nurse.

In 2009, I returned Union as an adjuct instructor teaching the Physical Assessment labs. Since that time I have taught a variety of courses in the Nursing Division and have now settled into teaching Pharmacology and Mental Health.
