The Forest Lake Academy Panthers won the volleyball Thunderdome Division bracket and the Sunnydale Adventist Academy Spartans won the soccer Thunderdome Division bracket at the 2022 Union College Fall Tournament on Saturday night, Oct. 22, 2022.
In the Clocktower Division bracket, the Hinsdale Adventist Academy Hurricanes took first place in volleyball and Maplewood Academy Huskies took first place in soccer.
The tournament weekend also included golf with participants from Forest Lake Academy, North Tampa Academy and Collegedale Academy.
The annual tournament got underway on Thursday, Oct. 20, using a pool play format for the 16 women's volleyball teams and 12 men's soccer teams. Games began at 9:00 a.m. and play on Thursday determined seeding for two championship tournaments — a Clocktower Division and Thunderdome Division — in both sports on Friday and Saturday night. This format allowed each team to play more games through out the tournament and have more opportunities to play for a championship.
