Christine Pfeiffer Allison ’02

Christine Pfeiffer Allison ’02 was born on Aug. 12, 1978, and passed away Sep. 5, 2025. Professionally a Physician Assistant-Clinical, she attended Sunnydale Academy in Centralia, Missouri, graduating in 1996, and later the baccalaureate and master’s program at Union Adventist University in Lincoln, Nebraska. Christine joins her mother Clare Kreutzer Pfeiffer, who passed away in 2012 after the same breast cancer illness. She is survived by her adopted daughters, Hannah (13), Emma (11), Cherilyn (8) and her father, Bill Pfeiffer (81), and his wife Jo Evelyn of Cleburne, Texas. Jo’s son Richard Sikes and wife Kimberly Sikes also mourn Christine’s passing.

Luis Reyes ’04

Luis Reyes ’04 was born on May 9, 1982, in El Salvador, and passed away on Jan. 9, 2025. Luis grew up in Siloam Springs, AR, and attended Ozark Elementary School, followed by Ozark Adventist Academy, and later graduated from Union College. As the Business Manager at Madison Academy, Luis’s work reflected his values—compassion, integrity, and a deep belief in the importance of service. Luis is survived by his wife and high-school sweetheart of 25 years, Nicole Cheeks Reyes ’04; daughters, Addison, Delaney, and Harper Reyes; brother, Jorge (LaTara) Reyes; nephews; family members, Jim and Eva Cheeks, Jimbo and Shelley Cheeks, Randy and Tomi Cheeks, Kristi and Jason White, Travis ’04 and Melinda Cheeks ’04 Whitlow; and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Luis and Ofelia Reyes, and his mother-in-law, Carafaye Green Cheeks ’66.
