Carter Trumble ’24

Carter Trumble ’24 died on May 22, 2025, near Greenwood, Nebraska.  Born in Lincoln on Mar. 9, 2004, to Christopher ’94 and Malinda Whitlow Trumble ’00 and big sister, Emma Trumble Essex ’24. Carter attended College View Academy and graduated with the class of 2022, after which he attended Union, where he earned an associate degree in business administration.  Shortly following graduation in May 2024, Carter enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard, attending Basic Combat Training and One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning (then Fort Moore) beginning in May 2024.  Carter graduated OSUT in October 2024 as a Private First Class Infantryman. Carter was a member of the College View Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lincoln and attended Adventist education from kindergarten on, making lifelong friends at every stage. Carter was known for his sense of humor and his devotion to weight training.
