Pastor Donald J. Sales was born April 7, 1929, in Sheridan, Wyo., and died June 18, 2026, in Pueblo, Colo. Don attended Walla Walla College, Wash., for three years, graduated from Union College, Lincoln, Neb., and pursued a Master of Arts from Potomac University in 1958. Don married Teresa A. (Pointer) in 1952 and shortly after began their lifelong ministry retiring in 1992. He ministered in South Dakota, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Colorado and served as an interim pastor post-retirement in Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Teresa Sales; his daughter Ruth Heide ’82; and son Mark Sales. Pastor Sales is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Beth ’80 and Kevin Wilkins, and Kristi and Tom Gardner. A memorial service is scheduled on August 29 at 2 p.m., at the Canon City SDA Church.
